Folks, a new group of genetically-superior people has reached our television sets. These people do not know each other, yet they've landed themselves a show called Heroes. Their stories are also interconnected: a Japanese office worker finds his tale has already been told by a comic book artist in New York City, which happens to be the central location for many, but not all, of the show's storylines thus far.

'Half Nelson' captivates with overwhelming precision

No other film has ever left me with the feelings that I had after experiencing Half Nelson. As I exited the theater, paranoia washed over me. Every movement, every lick of my lips, every quick dart of my eyes, I felt was being scrutinized by anyone who crossed my path.
