Middlebury College, a prestigious liberal arts school in Vermont, recently announced that its history department had banned the citation of Wikipedia for history papers and exams.
Don Wyatt, chairman of the department, said a total ban on Wikipedia is not practical, as it is too useful of a resource to expect students to never consult it.

Thanks to a Smith professor and graduate student, a rare native wildflower will now be available to the local public to plant in their gardens. In the age of "thin," eating disorders seem to be everywhere. No longer solely a "rich white girl's problem," they can affect virtually any demographic. Despite the prevalence of such mental illnesses, they remain greatly stigmatized. Sufferers often stay silent, concealing their problems for years.
Senators discuss possible changes to Smith dining

The Student Activities Fee for the 2007/2008 academic year, which senators passed recently, has been approved by the college's board of trustees. The student body will also be asked to approve the SAF during the spring elections.
The Recognizing Excellence Awards Reception will take place on April 18.

Human Rights Letter Writing Marathon
